Rosemary Syrup

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 rosemary sprigs, divided


  • 1/2 cup agave nectar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1/2 teaspoon of DIY orange extract

Orange Rosemary Salt

  • 1/4 cup course salt
  • 1 teaspoon DIY orange Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground rosemary


  • Rosemary Simple Syrup: Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan on medium heat and stir until sugar dissolves. Bring it to a light simmer, remove from heat and add 4 rosemary sprigs. Steep for 1 hour. Remove and discard sprigs. Let cool.
  • Orange Chipotle Salt: Mix all ingredients in a resealable plastic bag. Knead bag until extract and chipotle are evenly distributed. Spread salt on plate to dry before using. Store in air tight container.
  • Margarita: Combine orange juice, lime juice, Tequila, orange extract and 2-3 tablespoons of rosemary simple syrup, in a shaker. Shake well!
  • Pour over ice, garnish with rosemary sprigs & enjoy!
